WHERE IS THE PRAIRIE HOTEL?
The Prairie Hotel is located in Parachilna, in the northern Flinders Ranges of South Australia.
WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?
The Prairie Hotel is open from approximately the end of February to early December each year, closing entirely for the warmer months. Please always check this website to confirm if the property is open before travelling to visit. When in operation you can find out the opening days, times, and currently availability at each of our offerings at the following links:

CAN YOU CAMP AT PARACHILNA?
You sure can! Owned & operated independently of the Prairie, the Parachilna Outback Campground is located a short 50m walk from the Hotel (located in the Old School Grounds). The Campground offers unpowered sites only, with access to amenities, camp kitchen & fire pits. Contact Deb & Jake on 0461 538 156 or email parachilnaoutbackcampground@outlook.com. Please note, the Prairie does not offering camping 'out the back' of the hotel.
HOW DO I BOOK A FOSSIL TOUR TO NILPENA EDIACARA NATIONAL PARK?
Tours through the Prairie are currently very limited due to guide unavailability - however, bookings are available directly through National Parks. The Prairie Team can assist in making your reservation!
