Our Native Herb Sachets are the perfect way to take home a piece of the prairie. This range includes four delicious blends: Prairie Dust, Saltbush, Wattleseed, and Lemon Myrtle. Each sachet is filled with aromatic herbs and spices, grown right here on the prairie. Use them to add a unique flavor to your cooking or to freshen up your linen closet. Prairie Dust: A unique dusting of bush tomato, saltbush, pepper berry, paprika, garlic and Murray River salt. Delicious sprinkled on scrambled eggs, poultry, fish & chips.

 

Saltbush: A low growing blue-grey shrub grows in the dry inland areas of Australia. Use as a crust for grilled or roast meats or as a salt substitute with rich earthy flavours.

 

Wattle seed: Wattle seed is from Australian Acacia and has been a food staple for thousands of years. Use to impart a nutty roasted coffee flavour to your food.

 

Lemon Myrtle: The most versatile of Australia’s native herbs. Lemonier than lemon, it complements the flavours of all white meats, desserts and even makes a refreshing tea,
